Chapter 1. N<\/span><\/strong>ame, purposals and address<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Article 1<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

The term SOCIETAT DE BLUES DE BARCELONA defines an association that will regulate activities in accordance with associations Law 7\/1997 of 18 June (Official Journal 2423, to July 1), the Act <\/span>1\/2002 of 22 March regulating the right of association (BOE num.73, March 26) and its statutes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Article 2<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

The aims of the association are:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>Preserve and promote the blues.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  2. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Encourage the\u00a0interest for schedulling blues music\u00a0to\u00a0the venues, promoters, clubs, organizers, libraries, etc<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  3. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Help\u00a0the exchange between\u00a0national and international blues artists.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  4. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Ensure the presence of the blues in the media, education and all kinds of social activities and cultural entertainment.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  5. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Promote and as the case may be to organize concerts, festivals, photo exhibits, conferences, jam-sessions and all kinds of musical and cultural events related to the blues.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  6. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Organize workshops, seminars and other activities related to the knowledge\u00a0of\u00a0the blues.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  7. \u00a0 \u00a0 Be a\u00a0<\/span>Meeting-point for blues fans, musicians, promoters and journalists.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Article 3<\/em><\/p>\n

    The address of the association is established in Barcelona at\u00a0Ronda de Sant Pere, 19-21, 2\u00ba 1\u00aa \u2013 08010 Barcelona (the adress was changed by the General Assembly of the SBB\u00a0 01\/04\/2016).
    \n<\/span>The main business scope of the association\u00a0is\u00a0at the\u00a0registered adress. <\/span>However, it is also considered any\u00a0other adress\u00a0(either local, national or international) related to the activities of the association.
    \n<\/span><\/p>\n


    \n<\/span>Chapter II. <\/span><\/strong>The members of the association, their rights and their obligations.<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

    Article 4<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

    Everybody\u00a0over 0 years could b<\/span><\/span>e part of the association. Individuals m<\/span>ust submit a written request to the Board, which will take the\u00a0decision on it\u00a0and communicate its deliberation\u00a0to the General Assembly.
    \n<\/span>Minor\u00a0members, if any, are not entitled to vote and cannot be chosen or elected members of the Board.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

    Article 5<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

    Rights of the members of the association:<\/span><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Assist and vote at the meetings of the General Assembly.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    2. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Choose the members of the Board and be chosen for the mandates\u00a0of the Board.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    3. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Be the representative of the members that cannot assist at the General Assembly<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    4. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Intervene\u00a0in the governance of the association, in accordance with legal and statutory regulations.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    5. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Make suggestions to the Assembly and the Board to contribute to fuller life of the association and a more effective realization of social goals.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    6. \u00a0 \u00a0 Ask and\u00a0request for explanations to\u00a0the Board.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    7. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0To express an opinion\u00a0prior to the adoption of disciplinary measures, if necessary.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    8. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Receive information about the activities of the association.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    9. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Make use of the common services that the association provides or has at its disposal for the members.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    10. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Be p<\/span>art of the working groups.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    11. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Have a copy of the Statutes.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    12. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0To be able to c<\/span>onsult the books of the association.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Article 6<\/em><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

      Duties of the members of the association:<\/span><\/p>\n

        \n
      1. \u00a0 \u00a0 To be engaged with the aims of the association and to participate by\u00a0achieving them.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
      2. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Contribute to the maintenance of the association by paying the fees and other financial contributions set by the Statutes and approved in accordance with them at the General Assembly.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
      3. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Fulfill with the other obligations under\u00a0the statutory provisions.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
      4. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Accept and fulfill the agreements validly adopted by the governing members\u00a0of the association<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Article 7<\/em><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

        Causes to terminate\u00a0as member of the\u00a0association:<\/span><\/p>\n

        1. \u00a0 \u00a0 That same applicant notifies it in writing to the Board<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
        2. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Not to pay the anual fees.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
        3. \u00a0 \u00a0 To not respect\u00a0the statutory obligations.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
