Competition rules:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Barcelona Blues Society has organized this competition in order to promote new Blues projects.<\/span><\/p>\n

1. – Participation<\/span><\/p>\n

The competition is open to all kind of blues styles. <\/span>You can participate as a soloist, duo or group, but only in a single mode. <\/span>One person could be choosen to participate in different modes only if it is part of various blues projects . <\/span>Are excluded from this contest winners groups or projects of the previous edition and groups or projects which have in their editing of two or more disks. <\/span>Do not apply more restrictions to participate, that is, you can participate regardless of commitments management agencies recording contract action force, unless expressly stated incompatibility with such contracts or agreements .<\/span><\/p>\n

2. – Registration<\/span><\/p>\n

Musicians and groups participating should submit a CD with three songs in audio format track , wav or mp3, and a description of them: components, instruments, photographies, contact details and website information .<\/span><\/p>\n

3. – Calendar<\/span><\/p>\n

Application Deadline : November 22 , 2013<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Deadline for classified communication : 20 December 2013<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Of the proposals received a total of 6 bands or projects, will be in the elimination round. (th<\/span>ree gropus each day).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Elimination Round :<\/span><\/p>\n

First roundt: January 24, 2014<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Second round : January 25, 2014<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The results of these rounds will be two classified groups to the final phase.<\/span><\/p>\n

Final phase: February 8 , 2014<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The place where \u200bthe playoffs and the finals of the competition will be celebrated is Sala Monasterio de Barcelona.<\/span><\/p>\n

The organization will be responsible for the coordination and availability of direct and timely inform the technical schedules and participants. <\/span>The musicians should use their instruments and accessories in sound except that the organization has as backline .<\/span><\/p>\n

4. – Awards<\/span><\/p>\n

Recording and editing digital video (DVD ) of a concert by the winner group.<\/span><\/p>\n

Award gainful activity in Barcelona Blues Festival 2014<\/span><\/p>\n

Award gainful activity in Hondarribia Blues Festival 2014<\/span><\/p>\n

* The conditions of employment in these festivals will be proposed by the organizers .<\/span><\/p>\n

Recording studio for five days in Casa de la M\u00fasica Popular de L\u2019Hospitalet (Salamandra)<\/span><\/p>\n

5 . – The jury and scoring criteria<\/span><\/p>\n

The jury will consist of : a music critic, two members of the SBB, a musician, a member of Badmusic .<\/span><\/p>\n

There will be a pre-screening of proposals: Proposals will go to the playoffs six of the final phase of the competition.<\/span><\/p>\n

The classification is established according to the calculation by removing punctuation and sharing cartel between groups .<\/span><\/p>\n

6. – Broadcasting rights<\/span><\/p>\n

The organization may use documentary and non- commercial promotional footage generated by the completion of the contest (press, radio, television and Internet). <\/span>Participants authorize the use of his image that can be used for the dissemination and promotion of the competition .<\/span><\/p>\n

7. – The participation in the competition will not be paid and implies the acceptance of these rules<\/span><\/p>\n

8. – The organizing committee of the competition can solve unilaterally circumstances not provided for in these rules.<\/span><\/p>\n

9. – The verdict of the jury is final<\/span><\/p>\n
