We are thrilled with the success of Primavera in Black 2026!<\/p>\n

We prepared this year\u2019s lineup with great enthusiasm, hoping it would delight all lovers of Black music.<\/div>\n

The weather was on our side, with radiant sunny days that drew a large crowd of fans and music enthusiasts. They enjoyed not only the great atmosphere but also the high quality of all the performing bands. This confirms that Primavera in Black and the Jardines de Can Sumarro have established themselves as a highlight of the blues and African-American music scene.<\/p>\n

Additionally, on Sunday, we celebrated the Barcelona Blues Society anniversary, featuring a memorable performance by B.B. & The Blues Shacks<\/strong>, who came directly from Germany for an exclusive concert for the SBB. Alongside the Blues Market<\/strong>, we presented the Big Bill Broonzy Award to the Biblioteca Central Tecla Sala<\/strong> to mark the 20th anniversary of their Documentary Blues Archive<\/strong> and to recognize their dedication and support for the blues.<\/div>\n

Lineups such as France’s Bernard Sellam & The Boyz From The Hook<\/strong> (also an SBB exclusive), Chino Swingslide & Tota Blues Quartet<\/strong>, the Anna Bananahanack Band<\/strong> with 8 musicians on stage, the Catalunya Harm\u00f2nica Summit<\/strong> with Greg Izor as the master of ceremonies for the combo, the Romani-Zhulyev Hot Jazz Quintet<\/strong>, and the Malacara Blues Band<\/strong> completed a high-quality roster<\/p>\n
