Carlos Ferrer is the Tecla Sala’s librarian that is doing an excellent job to publicize the library’s Blues Collection: he has recently been interviewed by L’Hospitalet de Llobregat TV (Taquilla Inversa show) with Manolo López Poy to explain the activities of the SBB and the beginnings of the Tecla Sala Library’s Blues Fund (Fons de Blues) 15 years ago, which was promoted by the SBB since then and till now. He presents a magnificent commemorative issue of Blues a Fons 15 Years, with texts extracted from statements by Nuria Vila, Joan Ventosa, Vicente Zumel, Roser Blues, Manolo L. Poy, Miquel Abella, Big Mama Montse, etc. On a digital format, he has organized the issue on several sections, to know what the Blues Fund is (which is also the official European Blues Fund) and what materials it contains, which can be borrowed with the library card of the Diputació de Barcelona, from any library in the Diba network . We recommend entering and visiting the 6000 documents as well as going in person to the Blues Fund, if possible before May 31 to see the expo about the guitarist Amadeu Casas, that is exhibited with spectacular photographs of Jordi Vidal and Joan Josep Gómez.
