Competition rules:
Barcelona Blues Society has organized this competition in order to promote new Blues projects.
1. – Participation
The competition is open to all kind of blues styles. You can participate as a soloist, duo or group, but only in a single mode. One person could be choosen to participate in different modes only if it is part of various blues projects . Are excluded from this contest winners groups or projects of the previous edition and groups or projects which have in their editing of two or more disks. Do not apply more restrictions to participate, that is, you can participate regardless of commitments management agencies recording contract action force, unless expressly stated incompatibility with such contracts or agreements .
2. – Registration
Musicians and groups participating should submit a CD with three songs in audio format track , wav or mp3, and a description of them: components, instruments, photographies, contact details and website information .

3. – Calendar
Application Deadline : November 22 , 2013
Deadline for classified communication : 20 December 2013
Of the proposals received a total of 6 bands or projects, will be in the elimination round. (three gropus each day).
Elimination Round :
First roundt: January 24, 2014
Second round : January 25, 2014
The results of these rounds will be two classified groups to the final phase.
Final phase: February 8 , 2014
The place where the playoffs and the finals of the competition will be celebrated is Sala Monasterio de Barcelona.
The organization will be responsible for the coordination and availability of direct and timely inform the technical schedules and participants. The musicians should use their instruments and accessories in sound except that the organization has as backline .
4. – Awards
Recording and editing digital video (DVD ) of a concert by the winner group.

* The conditions of employment in these festivals will be proposed by the organizers .
Recording studio for five days in Casa de la Música Popular de L’Hospitalet (Salamandra)
5 . – The jury and scoring criteria
The jury will consist of : a music critic, two members of the SBB, a musician, a member of Badmusic .
There will be a pre-screening of proposals: Proposals will go to the playoffs six of the final phase of the competition.
The classification is established according to the calculation by removing punctuation and sharing cartel between groups .
6. – Broadcasting rights
The organization may use documentary and non- commercial promotional footage generated by the completion of the contest (press, radio, television and Internet). Participants authorize the use of his image that can be used for the dissemination and promotion of the competition .
7. – The participation in the competition will not be paid and implies the acceptance of these rules
8. – The organizing committee of the competition can solve unilaterally circumstances not provided for in these rules.
9. – The verdict of the jury is final
