The party of the 10th Anniversary of the SBB was a great success, both for the assistance of public and for the good atmosphere and quality of the acts. In the lobby of Collblanc-La Torrassa Cultural Center of l’Hospitalet de Llobregat (Barcelona-Spain) there were a superb selection of photographs by Joan Josep Gómez and Agustin Bertol that accompanied the people in their paths to the venue. This exhibition can still be visited for a few days.
Travellin ‘Brothers offered a great show, full of moments of intense feeling and good music. They involved the public to participate at the celebration.
There was also a very sweet moment with the big cake made by Armand Garcia (Pastry Boguñá). The candles were blowed and the President of the SBB, Miriam Aparicio, began to cut pieces for everyone. This year, the SBB has given an award of recognition to the Capibola Association for their work over 13 years in favor of the blues and their social commitment. Congratulations to Willy and Ricard for the involvement and for the prize!!
In the middle of the event, the gift packs were raffled to the SBB Members’ assistants. Three harmonicas provided by La Clau de Sol, a pack of delicatessen & cocktails for two people offered by the Milano Cocktail Bar in Barcelona, two tickets to the concert of The Excitements + Royal Southern Brotherhood at the Festival Grec in Barcelona, a pack of products by Bad Music and several CDs were given away by the SBB on a magical evening that continued with the Barcelona Blues Society Friends and guest artists who also joined them to make a great concert finale.
