As a result of the General Assembly of members of the Barcelona Blues Society (SBB), held on April 1, 2016 at the auditorium of Tecla Sala’s Library, the Board has been renewed and formed such as it is stated below and with the following proposed work:

PURPOSE OF THE NOMINATION
1. Keep the support of the Blues Funds of Tecla Sala’s Library and continue by mediating in the purchase of material and the provision of donations. Promote more activities about the blues at the Auditorium of the library and collaborate with the quarterly magazine “Blues a Fons”.
2. Continue with the edition of the Spanish Annuary of the Blues in collaboration with the Collblanc-La Torrassa Cultural Center and free shipping the issues to all the members of the Society.
3. Continue with the Primavera in Black Festival (April) under the patronage of the City Council of L’Hospitalet de LLobregat.
4. Continue by giving logistical support to the annual Cycle of Blues & Boogie (November) organized by the municipality of L’Hospitalet de LLobregat.
5. Organize the Barcelona Blues Society Anniversary Party and establish the SBB Award.
6. Keep the biannual edition of the Barcelona Blues Society’s Contest.
7. Keep the Web, Newsletters and Agenda of the SBB.
8. Continue and grow the number of concerts’s discounts for the members of the association.
9. Continue the process of selecting the contestants to the EBC, for another year at least, and maintain the sponsors (AIE) to help the musicians.
10. Thinking strategies to get more money for activities.
11. It is proposed to work towards organizing regular concerts, to schedule blues artists that may be of the interest for the SBB members.
12. Promote the blues and help to incorporate public loyalty at concert halls.
