The Social and Cultural Fund of AIE (Association of Artists, Interpreters and Performers of Spain) granted, one more year, the financial support to Johnny Big Stone & The Blues Workers to afford their travel expenses and accomodation in Hell (Trondheim-Norway) during their participation at the EBC2018, that will take place at the Scandic Hotel in Hell’s Auditorium between 16th and 17th of March 2018. In 2017, Los Mambo Jambo also received a similar economical support that helped the band on their travel expenses to play at the 7th EBCto Horsens (Denmark) that took place between the 7th and 8th of April 2017. In the previous year, AIE also sponsored Wax & Boogie Rhythm Combo on their travel costs and accomodation at the sixth edition of the European Blues Challenge in Torrita (Italy) which was between April 8 and 9, 2016. AIE also sponsored trips and accommodation for the Travellin’ Brothers that became the Winners of the 2015 EBC that took place in Brussels. At the first European Blues Challenge 2011 in Berlin, the AIE also helped to pay the expenses of The Suitcase Brothers.
