Societat Blues Barcelona (SBB) and BCNSwing join forces to bring you an immersive experience: an open workshop, DJ sets, and a powerful live performance by the ‘Silver Bluesers’
Next Friday, May 15th, join us for an unmissable evening celebrating the true essence of blues. This new collaboration between SBB and BCNSwing was born with one clear goal: to create an event where blues is heard, felt, and danced.
The night kicks off at 7:00 PM with an Open Blues Dance Class led by Sonia Hernando and Jordi Figueras. It doesn’t matter if it’s your first time or if you’re a seasoned dancer; the focus isn’t on rigid steps, but on the body’s dialogue with the music, the pulse, and the connection with your partner.
Starting at 9:00 PM, the Silver Bluesers will take the stage. Featuring renowned local musicians like Hoochie Coochie Sonia (vocals), Jose Bluefingers (guitar), Joan Ventosa (piano), Sweet Lu (bass), and Javi Pérez (drums), the band will breathe new life into classics by legends such as Albert King, Irma Thomas, and T-Bone Walker, blending modern blues and rhythm & blues with impeccable style.”

- 8:00 PM – 9:00 PM: DJ Session (Warm-up).
- 9:00 PM – 11:00 PM: Silver Bluesers LIVE (Two sets with a DJ-hosted intermission).
- 11:00 PM onwards: Closing DJ Session.
