The SBB in cooperation with Centro Civico Can Verdaguer presents an educationa show to this year edition of “Blues At The Schools”.
This educational show will take place on October 17 at 11 a.m. at the Centro Cívico Can Verdaguer and will be presented to fourth grade students.
This time, the SBB will present “AtreVidas” a show where, for an hour and among some songs, brief explanations will be introduced, so that students can understand the conditions and life of Afroamerican women who devoted themselves to sing and play blues. The show will also make students discover blues in a interesting and funny way, thanks to short pieces of songs and anecdotes from the lives of some of the most representative blues women singers who, not only put their voices to the history of blues but also confronted the established rules suffering the consequences of the prevailing racism of the time.
This educational show will be conducted by Sonia Redondo, vocals, Lorenzo Spinozzi, guitar, Adrià Faura, bass and Oscar Hita, drums and percussion.
