The artist Pepe Farrés has donated one of his most beautiful paintings to the Blues Funds (of Barcelona Blues Society-SBB and the European Blues Union), which are part of the legacy of the Central Library Tecla Sala in L’Hospitalet de LLobregat (Barcelona) . The image of the painting is about the bluesman Sonny Boy Williamson II, who was remembered at the Collblanc-La Torrassa Cultural Center at the Pocket Harps’ concert on February 3, 2017. The donation act was attended by the artist himself, as well as by the director of the Central Library Tecla Sala, Mr. Pedro Bravo, and by SBB’s President, Big Mama Montse.

The act was conducted by the writer Manolo López Poy, with great sense of humor and knowledge of the subject. The Pocket Harps’ show gathered a good set of harmonists on the stage, that played really well and that motivated the delights of the public. An intense and wonderful evening that, undoubtedly, all the participants and assistants will remember.
