In 2006, by agreement between SBB (Barcelona Blues Society) and Tecla Central Library in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, it is created the “FONS DE BLUES” (BLUES FUNDS) and since then, Tecla Sala is increasing the number of books, CDs, DVDs, magazines, etc., which are available to the public. On December 2012, the BLUES FUNDS also became the Funds of the European Blues Union. In early 2015 the library made an expansion and rearrangement to optimize the offer of all its material.

The library has acquired a copy of the book of photographies by Aigars Lapsa, who is the first European to receive the KBA 2012 (Keeping the Blues Award) in the category of Photography. This gem of book can be consulted only at the library.
